Rainy Days and Mondays...
...happen to be the same thing today.
It's a very nasty day today. It's supposed to clear up as the day progresses, though, and be pretty nice by tomorrow.
My weekend was pretty quiet. I puttered around upgrading some hardware bits in my Windows machine, read a good bit, and was generally a hermit.
I've got a lot to do at work today; the law school finally turned in their grades for the fall semester (they always do it late), so I have to process their grades today. Of course, it's fine for them to take this long to get them in, but it's an absolute necessity that I drop everything I'm doing to process them.
I'm a little concerned with this past Friday's episode of Battlestar Galactica. I had been wondering for some time how they were going to resolve the issue of President Roslin's impending death. While I didn't think they would let one of the stars of the show simply die, and I certainly didn't want to see her leave, I also didn't want a hokey miracle cure. As for how they handled it... I'm not sure it reaches the level of "hokey miracle cure," but I'm left a little cold by it as well. I don't think it reached the level of shark-jumping, but it's as close as this series has come to it thus far.
